Our Itty Bitty Niece...Drew

Just a few short weeks ago (as in less than 3) our newest niece was born. Drew Olivia Menz. She was born to my brother and s.i.l. on June 3. Seriously she is the sweetest little thing and we are so in love with her. My s.i.l. writes her own blog (which is quite fab) and where you can read up more on their little darling. It really is fun watching your little brother become a dad!

Yesterday I got to spend a little time with Drew as Lyndsay had a few errands to run. It was really fun and Hudson couldn't stop watching her. It was if he was saying, 'what is that mommy'. Of course me, Drew's 'paparazzi aunt' couldn't wait to take out the camera and get some pictures of her!

check out the size difference between hudson (7 months) and drew (2 weeks).

check out her hair. LOVE it!

Rolling With My Homey...

Yesterday we had a lot of fun hanging out with our friend Landon. Landon is my best friend Marissa's little man and Hudson and him are only 4 weeks apart. I know they will grow up to be great buddies. Both boys look just like their daddy's as you can see from the pictures below.

It's been pretty hot around here so the boys played in the water for a little bit. Marissa has this adorable 'splash.pad' that was just perfect for our little guys. It was a nice way to stay cool.

Of course I took a million photos but here are some favs from the day.

You Have To Start Some Where

It's been almost a year but I want to keep this up and mostly to help me remember all the little details of our family growing and my baby boy growing up. So 'you have to start some where' and here is where I start (again)...
It's summer and our little man, Hudson, has just turned 7 months old. One thing that prompted this post is that he has just figured out how to 'rasberry' over and over. It is super cute and super wet! The second prompting is that my S.I.L. over at Making.A.Menz just blogged about her 'birth story' of my newest little niece Drew and it makes me sad b/c I have already forgotten so much about my own. Here is to trying my best to write a few post a week! Before I go here are a few pictures of my little guy

Doggie Sitting

Sarah went to Vegas for work (and fun) a couple of weeks ago. So the family split up time to taking care of Bella, her little Japanese Chin. I went to pick up Bella on Wednesday and she stayed with us until Friday evening when Uncle Aaron and Aunt Denise came to get her. She did really well and even Uncle Adam began to enjoy having her with us. Here are some pictures of her stay!

Baby Davis

Right now I am 19 weeks pregnant (well one day short, hehe). I haven't taken a lot of great 'bump' pictures but I hope to be better at this too. I want to be able to look back and see how our sweet baby was growing. This is all I have for now and more about the beginning weeks of pregnancy soon!

This is at 17 weeks (however, I think I look bigger in person)

This is at 12 weeks (sorry for the messy room in the background)

Terrible At Blogging

So before I get back to this blogging business...I just wanted to note that I have been terrible at it. I have the best of intentions and it just getting back to this. I am filled with ideas of things to write and post about so I am going to try to be better. Don't hold your breath but I am really hoping for the BEST!!!! Here we go, again!

The Beginning

Well here I go, the beginning of our blog...I think this will be a great space to talk about all the love and lovely things that go on in my life. I just got married and have a ton of love there but also have a loving family, loving friends, and most of all an amazing and forgiving and loving God. Let's see where this goes!
